Anupama Parameswaran, the actress who was recently seen in the horror film Kishkindhapuri, has shut down the trolls and reacted to the people who took a dig at her when she reacted to a friend's death. In the now-viral video, the actress was seen sharing a heartbreaking memory of a friend she lost. In the video, the actress speaks about not responding to his highlight and highlights her regret that she feels so strongly about it. During the interview, she talked about a friend she crossed paths with after a long time; she hadn't spoken to them in a while. The friend later reached out to her, but she was busy with work and chose not to reply. Two days later, she received the news of his death. Anupama spoke about that experience and how it brought back those bad memories that she wishes she could erase.

When she was talking about the incident, she described the situation as "my friend expired." The term didn't sit well with netizens, who called her out for being insensitive. After the video went viral, she could have very easily reacted, but that isn't the point. She made it clear that moving on should be a part of our life, while at the same time, the goal should be to become a better human being.

She said in her statement, "I'm honestly shocked by the negativity under this video. I've read so many comments; people say there's no empathy, no emotion, and that using the word 'expired' is wrong. But what do you expect me to do? Sit and cry? Would that convince you of the sadness I went through? This happened years ago, and the question asked was, 'What scares you the most?' I am an actor; if I wanted sympathy, I could easily cry and say the same thing more dramatically. But that's not the point. In life, we will lose people we love. We break, we mourn, we carry guilt, but somehow we must move forward. Every moment teaches us; every mistake shapes us. That is what makes us human and, hopefully, better human beings. This is a healing wound; let it heal! Live and let live!"

Anupama Parameswaran's film Kishkindhapuri, which hit the theaters on September 12, is doing really well. The film, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in the lead, tells the story of a ghost-walking tour gone awry, and fans are loving the film as of now.
