Netflix has a huge and varied catalog, and many of its shows can be binged in just one weekend. The streamer has its fair share of behemoth, multi-season series, from breakout hits like House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black to the more recent and hugely popular Stranger Things. Yet Netflix has also developed a somewhat complex reputation for its shorter shows. Netflix's limited series arguably continue to dominate the streaming space, but not all the platform's briefer installments were short by design.
