On July 20th, 2025, a 30-year-old woman in Wisconsin allegedly drove the wrong way down an interstate while intoxicated, causing a devastating head-on collision that claimed the lives of two teenagers. But as officers investigated the crash, another suspected impaired driver crashed into a parked police vehicle at the same scene. The incident happened shortly after midnight near DeForest, when Noelia Martinez-Avila drove southbound in the northbound lanes of I-39/90, colliding with a Volkswagen carrying two Minnesota teenagers.The impact caused her SUV to catch fire.
