‘High Potential’ Showrunner Responds to ‘9-1-1’ Crossover Rumors: “Never Say Never”

Back in July, 9-1-1 star Jennifer Love Hewitt flashed her support for her fellow ABC procedural High Potential. Using words like “obsessed”, the I Know What You Did Last Summer star revealed that she’s been hoping that the time will eventually come when the 9-1-1 team will be able to crossover with Kaitlin Olson’s hit series. Considering that both projects take place in Los Angeles, it isn’t too much of a hop, skip, and a jump to see how the creative teams could tie the characters together and deliver audiences one incredible episode. With High Potential now returning for its second season, the sky is the limit on what could happen to Olson’s Morgan Gillory as she continues her consultant job with the LAPD. And, when it comes to a potential 9-1-1 crossover, High Potential showrunner, Todd Harthan says, “never say never.”
