New merchandise from Masters of the Universe, including a He-Man life-size figure, has been unveiled. Releasing this summer, the film will be the second live-action adaptation of the popular Mattel media franchise after the 1987 feature starring Dolph Lundgren.
He-Man and more revealed in new Masters of the Universe merch
Preternia shared new merchandise themed after the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie online. These include action figures of He-Man, Spikor, Trap-Jaw, Fisto, Ram Man, Man-At-Arms, Goat Man, and Skeletor, as well as a Fright Flight vehicle toy inspired by the eponymous spaceship depicted in the film.
Also revealed were life-size figures of He-Man, Skeletor, and Bone Throne from Muckle Mannequins.
Recently, two stills from the movie were shared online. These highlight Snake Mountain, a location surrounded by lava, and Castle Grayskull. The former is Skeletor’s lair, while the latter is the Sorceress’ abode and He-Man’s power source.
Masters of the Universe premieres in theaters on June 5, 2026. The story follows Adam Glenn a.k.a. He-Man, who returns to his homeworld of Eternia to reclaim his lost birthright after fleeing the planet years ago as a child to escape a brutal civil war. In the process, he joins forces with several warriors to battle Skeletor and his evil army.
Travis Knight helmed the film. His previous credits include the stop-motion animated fantasy Kubo and the Two Strings and the Transformers spin-off Bumblebee.
Meanwhile, Chris Butler, Dave Callaham, and Aaron and Adam Nee co-wrote the screenplay. The latter two also developed the story with Alex Litvak and Michael Finch. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Robbie Brenner, and Steve Tisch produced the movie.
Nicholas Galitzine stars as He-Man. The supporting cast includes Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Kristen Wiig as Roboto, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, James Purefoy as King Randor, and Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, among others.
Amazon MGM Studios will distribute the film in the United States and Canada. Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Releasing International will handle international distribution.
