When Euphoria first arrived onscreen, it was often described as the spiritual successor to the British TV show, Skins, as both dealt with young adults and their various troubles. However, the show soon took on a life of its own. Euphoria's main cast became household names, and the show gained a reputation for being HBO's most controversial TV show of all time.
