Hanuman Ansh has been on a generational run, with the movie surging past the Rs 200 crore milestone. Originally written as a book by Vishal Chaturvedi under the title Divine Detour, he created the movie for theatrical release on the big screen. Backed by a number of supportive producers, including Namrata Singh and Anupriya Nagar, among many others.
The movie released on August 7, 2026, with a rather humble beginning, earning just around Rs 10 lakh. The hopes of reaching anywhere close to the Rs 2 crore budget seemed bleak. However, as the days went by, the numbers began to shoot up, with day 17 crossing Rs 2 crore in a single day. On day 22, Hanuman Ansh collected Rs 6.25 crore, and then on day 31, September 6, it collected Rs 22.75 crore in just 1 day. Since then, the movie has been grossing more than Rs 10 crore every single day till the present.

Summing up the total gross collection on day 36, Hanuman Ansh has a total gross collection of more than Rs. 205 crore just from India. The movie will also have a global release on September 11, 2026. It is to be seen how the movie will fare on international soil. Vishal Chaturvedi, during an exclusive interview, spoke about how Neem Karoli Baba has had a strong impact on big international names, including Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Julia Roberts, among many others.
Vishal Chaturvedi also opened the door to queries about the prospective sequel. Given that his book covers the entire story, Hanuman Ansh would be a trilogy series. During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Namrata Singh said, “There are thousands of devotees whose lives he touched in India, and they come first without doubt. The Kainchi story is about the Indian devotees. The third film will focus on how he put India on the global map through the spiritual energy he transferred to foreigners, be it Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Julia Roberts, etc.”
