Finally! Some news…..

Jim Kay has been the illustrator that has been working on the illustrated editions of the Harry Potter books. After finishing the Order of the Phoenix, Jim Kay made the decisions to step down. Ever since then, I’ve been wondering who is going to be the illustrator for the final two books of the series (and I’m sure other people have been wondering the same thing). I just learned today that Levi Pinfold is going to be the illustrator for the final two books and Half-Blood Prince will be released on October of this year. I’m sure I’ll be getting this for Christmas…..my husband has been getting me the illustrated copies every time one of them is released.

I have plans to re-read the Harry Potter series using all the illustrated editions. So, I have been chomping at the bit to get these last two illustrated copies in my hands. Plus, I’d like to be able to show these to my husband. He’s watched the movies with me when they came out and he’s enjoyed them. He just never has read any of the books before so he doesn’t know how much better they are if you read the books.
