Gundam x Miku Anniversary Special Project Keychains Return

Bandai Namco announced it is bringing the Gundam x Miku Anniversary Special Project rubber mascot keychains back to the US and Canada. These will appear in its Gashapon capsule machines in both countries in April 2026. The official site only mentioned it as part of the general update for the month and didn’t offer an exact date for when these items will be back. 

These keychains first launched in Japan, with the North American release following in July 2025. This run will be identical to the first. So if you did already manage to find some of the keychains, you don’t need to worry about variant color schemes or new additions. As usual, each one involves Hatsune Miku in an outfit inspired by a different type of Gundam or robot from the series. It is entirely random, so you don’t know which character you’ll get from the machine, but there are no secrets so the odds of getting each one is equal.

A few months ago, another item in this crossover series appeared in North American Gashapon machines. The Gundam Capsule Action Hatsune Miku Color Model Kits showed up. These let you build a small Gundam or Char’s Zaku in the Vocaloid’s color schemes. However, as they were considered a “premium” capsule machine variant, they are more expensive than the standard two or three coin ($6-9) items.

The  Gundam x Miku Anniversary Special Project rubber mascot keychains will return in the US and Canada in April 2026.
