Gumball and the Shrink Ray Launching in 2027

Featuring a 20+ hour adventure, a day/night cycle, revamped battles, and more than 70 partners to recruit, Exquisite Laundry Pet and Mega Cat Studios’ Gumball and the Shrink Ray will release for the Game Boy Color and the PC via Steam in 2027.

Just in time for Halloween (happening tomorrow!), Gumball and the Shrink Ray will introduce the Shrink Squad. With this system in palace, players will be able to assemble a crew from more than 70 helpful partners.

Gumball and the Shrink Ray will also feature an overhauled, mood-based combat system, alongside a new shrinking mechanic.

Gumball and the Shrink Ray | Gumball in Trick-or-Treat Land Sequel Coming to Steam & Game Boy Color

Adam Lewis Graf, creator of Gumball and the Shrink Ray, said the following:

“I’m happy to reveal that Gumball is returning in an ambitious new adventure!

With this sequel, I’m hoping to conjure up some end-of-life-cycle Game Boy Color vibes; sort of a “gen 2” take on the Gumball formula.

The story premise and mechanics are very intertwined this time around, and I’m really excited about the new region of Trick-or-Treat Land where the game takes place, not to mention a brand new ensemble cast of recruitable characters!”
