‘Gilmore Girls’ Biggest Unfinished Story Deserves a Second Chance 10 Years Later

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is set nearly a decade after the finale of the original Gilmore Girls series, but nearly another decade after the revival premiered. Stars Hollow is once again back in the spotlight. Warner Bros. Television is currently developing the first-ever authorized Gilmore Girls documentary for HBO Max, with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, Daniel Palladino, and Lauren Graham among those involved. The documentary will revisit how the beloved series became a cross-generational phenomenon and feature never-before-seen outtakes, behind-the-scenes footage, and script pages.
