A whodunit storyline is kicking off on General Hospital, and the promo spoilers video for the week of September 1 teases that the least popular man in Port Charles, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), is at the center of the mystery!
Bite The Bullet
When the video opens, Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is seen huddling with Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as police lights flash ominously in the background. “How many people do you think want Drew Cain dead?” Anna asks.
Based on the enemies the congressman has managed to rack up in Port Charles over the past few months, Dante is well aware that they have their work cut out for them with the investigation ahead. “That’s a long list,” he sighs.
Gun Shy
Then, the promo rewinds to Drew, who is shown in his darkened living room, walking toward the fireplace with a drink in hand. Just as he lifts the glass to take a sip of his whiskey, a gunshot rings out — and Drew then flinches in shock!
The video then goes back to Anna and Dante, who are trying to come up with a suspect list. “Who’s at the top?” Anna wonders.
In the final seconds, a handful of the many folks with motive to stop Drew once and for all flash across the screen before the promo fades out: Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and last but not least, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
