Full Trailer: Johnny Depp In “Ebenezer”

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the full trailer for filmmaker Ti West’s “Ebenezer,” a new take on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.

Johnny Depp plays Ebenezer Scrooge in what’s dubbed a thrilling ghost story set in Dickens’ London. It follows “one man’s supernatural journey to face his past, present and future and fight for a second chance”.

The cast includes Ian McKellen as Jacob Marley, Andrea Riseborough as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Tramell Tillman as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Daisy Ridley as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

Also onboard are Rupert Grint as Bob Cratchit, Sam Claflin as Fred, Charlie Murphy and Ellie Bamber as the Fezziwigs, Nicholas Day as a Minister, and Arthur Conti as a young Ebenezer.

The project has a script by Nathaniel Halpern while Emma Watts is producing. It will mark Depp’s first major studio lead since 2018. Filming took place in Dublin and London earlier this year.

“Ebenezer” is set for a November 13th 2026 theatrical release.
