French far-right fail to take key cities in test for 2027 presidential race

Despite predictions, French far-right party the National Rally failed to take over any major cities in the municipal elections, in a ballot considered to be a stress-test ahead of the 2027 presidential race. But overall, the results do not give any further clue as to who could succeed to President Emmanuel Macron. FRANCE 24's James André tells us more about what to know.
