France votes: turnout sees uptick at midday in major cities

Following a historically low turnout in the first round of local elections last Sunday, polling stations in major cities, including Paris, are seeing a slight uptick in voter participation around midday compared to 2014 and 2020, FRANCE 24’s Jamie Smith-Maillet reported from Paris.
