Fans of Isaac Asimov's iconic sci-fi epic have been largely impressed by Apple TV's Foundationseries so far, as it's arguably gone above and beyond in creating something equal parts original and familiar with the original source material. While some aspects of the show's liberties have been divisive among longtime Asimov enthusiasts, Foundation has managed to preserve many of the ideas at the heart of the novels while building an identity entirely its own.
