We’ll soon get to see the Suikoden: The Anime adaptation of the second game in the series worldwide, as the series run starts on October 6, 2026, and Konami said it will be on YouTube with English subtitles for free. There’s a teaser trailer for it, and the opening and ending theme songs are online on the Japanese account too.

Here’s the teaser trailer for the first episode of the series. It doesn’t mention exactly when it will show up online. This is because depending on the country, it could be different. However, new episodes will appear every week. So we’ll see the first on October 6, 2026, the second on October 13, 2026, and so on. Only the first episode will be 60 minutes long.

This Suikoden: The Anime YouTube release of Episodes is limited to certain countries. The official announcement mentioned over 75 territories that will be able to watch it. Some of the most notable include the North American countries Canada, Mexico, and the United States, South American ones like Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Equador, Uruguay, and Venezuela, and places like Australia and Ireland.

As for the theme songs, Amazarashi sings the opening theme song. That’s called “Kanashimi sae Otonabite.” That performer might sound familiar due to also working on theme songs for shows like My Hero Academia, NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, and Tokyo Ghoul. Koji Nakamura’s ending song is “Closed Eye Sun.” That singer worked on Eureka Seven songs in the past.

Suikoden: The Anime will begin its run on October 6, 2026 and be available worldwide.
