The English branch of the agency First Stage Production issued a statement on social media that confirmed the EN side will remain open and its Vtubers active even though the Japanese one will close down on June 30, 2026. The announcement confirmed the English branch is independent, which is why it will continue to operate. It also confirmed there will be a fourth generation of performers, though there are no details about the next group yet.
This update came basically immediately after Reality announced the Japanese side of First Stage Production would shut down and discussed what would happen with its Vtubers. While the last day of that agency is June 30, 2026, some performers may end activities sooner. The confirmed graduations include Colonel Mofuchu, Himemiya Honoka, Hoshikage Tetra, Kurosaki Taiga, Nyapupu Marina, Perfect Bomber, and Ryugahama Yue. They all shared their announcements on social media and YouTube. Some will remain active and with Reality, like Mochituke Nullpo, Nilim Snowmelt, Tsukigami Len, and Yu Yu Yura. Meanwhile, Hinomiya Himari, Namiyoi Kanade, Ruru Rara Rily, and Shikimori Kotori will be independent and together under Sorabin.
As for the English branch of the First Stage Productions group, it said its Vtubers’ schedules, projects, and plans are completely unaffected. It did offer its sympathies and asked people not ask its performers from the EN side about the situation out of respect for them. It’s next branch is in the works. The last audition period for it lasted between March 6, 2026 and April 12, 2026. The teaser art for the trailer associated with it showed five people, suggesting we’ll see five performers in the fourth generation. (All past generations also had five people in it.)
The current active Vtubers with First Stage Productions English are:
