Sparks flew in Coronation Street this evening as the truth about Eva Price’s (Catherine Tyldesley) attack was revealed.
Eva didn’t want to involve the police, and gave Leanne and Toyah Battersby (Jane Danson and Georgia Taylor) a heads-up that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) was responsible for pushing her down the stairs.
This obviously came as a huge shock to them, but they reacted considerably better than Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker).
Ben was understandably furious and wanted to report Sam to the police, questioning his actions until he grew overwhelmed and fled from the pub.
Elsewhere, Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) continued with her plan to ruin the lives of those closest to her as she replaced Doug Ramsey’s (Steve Evets) antipsychotics with painkillers, and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) opened up to Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) about her connection to Rachel.
But what does the ITV soap still have in store?
What happens next in Coronation Street? Spoilers for Friday, October 2 episode
Eva and Sam’s families are shattered following Sam’s confession, as their loved ones struggle to come to terms with his actions.
Elsewhere, Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) overhears Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) admitting that he’ll struggle to pay off the debt Sam has accrued, and it’s clear the admission sparks his interest.
Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) arrive at the undertaker’s to order Rachel’s plaque, but when Sally pulls out a photo album, Christina makes out she has another client due and ushers them out.
Meanwhile, Jodie is delighted to realise that Doug’s paranoia is kicking in, and when he remarks that he can hear static coming from the radio, she makes out she has no idea what he’s talking about while cranking up the volume.
Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) accuses Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) of giving Harper all of her attention. When she points out that Jodie is always there for her, Shona feels terrible.
Will Jodie succeed in tearing Shona’s family apart?
