Evening routine (that definitely includes reading)

I work a full time job but luckily I don’t have to work more than a typical 40 hours a week, even during the busy parts of the year. I normally have to be at work by 6 a.m. and I’m normally leaving work by 3 p.m. in the afternoon. Since I don’t live very far from where I work, I’ll get home a little after 3 and I get a little time to decompress before I have to start throwing dinner together (sometimes I’ll spend this time making the bed if I haven’t already but that doesn’t take long and I can do that task in peace). My husband and I usually eat dinner at 5 pm. I’ll go take a shower as soon as we’ve eaten dinner and the dishes are washed (I’m one of those people that washes dishes as I’m cooking so that there are few dishes, if any, left to wash after dinner is over). Then there’s not much to do after I’ve had my shower besides brushing my teeth and putting on my pj’s.

At this point, I’m free to relax for the rest of the evening until it is time for me to go to bed. Which means I’m free to spend my time reading for the rest of the evening and unwind before bedtime. This usually gives me at least an hour of reading time, if not longer (this also depends on what time I go to bed). What does your evening routine look like? Does it include any time for reading? If so, how much time do you get to read?
