EMMERDALE has teased a shock exit for Jacob Gallagher as Victoria Sugden makes a big decision.

The couple haven’t had the easiest path to love, and had to keep their romance a secret initially because of Victoria’s past relationship with Jacob’s dad David Metcalfe.

When David finally found out, he was devastated by their betrayal and left the village for good.

However, in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, the couple face a new hurdle.

Jacob tries to hide the news of a six week placement in Berlin from Victoria, but she knows he has turned it down in order to stay with her and worries he’s missing out on his future.

Soon Leyla’s bemused when Liam tells her about the placement.

Later, Victoria is embarrassed as she explains to Leyla, Jacob has not taken it in order to remain close to her.

Both worry Jacob’s relationship with Victoria will limit his life. So soon Victoria makes a big decision.

Is she about to call time on their relationship?

Meanwhile, it’s happier news for Matty Barton and Amy Wyatt as they excitedly prepare for their wedding day.

However, things run the risk of grinding to a halt when Amy’s mum Kerry is unable to stump up the cash she promised to pay for the wedding.

Matty’s blindsided by the news the wedding is off. 

But after taking a mystery call, Leyla announces the wedding is back on.

The guests stand as Amy sets off down the aisle.
