There are just a couple of weeks until the big Emmerdale trial and with Bear Wolf’s (Joshua Richards) freedom hanging in the balance, he really needs to be on his best behaviour.

Bear has been held on remand since he admitted killing Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) on purpose – which he did to protect son Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) as the police got to close to the truth that Paddy had helped him cover up the killing.

It later transpired that Ray had managed to frame him from beyond the grave after it was discovered that Ray had been depositing money in Bear’s name, painting him to be his accomplice.

Pretty damning evidence for even the best defence to get around.

Ahead of the trial, Paddy is praying that his dad keeps his head down and nose clean because there’s not a lot going for him right now.

He’s floored when he hears his dad does the exact opposite – Bear starts a fight and earns himself a stay in solitary confinement.

Bear’s chance at freedom is suddenly slipping away. Paddy needs to free his dad, for his own mental health.

As he contemplates how to help his dad, he considers the fact that he and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) are also looking at their own sizable prison stays.

Will Paddy be able to save his dad, and ultimately, himself?
