Dylan on The Bold and The Beautiful: Everything You Need To Know

Dylan is a new character on Bold and Beautiful, so viewers are still getting to know her. Sydney Bullock made her debut as the young art teacher back on June 16, 2025, and, after a handful of appearances over the next month into July, was brought back to the soap in November as part of a more substantial storyline and is now on contract. So while the young woman is still a bit of a mystery, here’s everything you need to know about Dylan so far.

Life Lessons

Ms Dylan was introduced in the spring of 2025 as Hayes’s art teacher, who was impressed with a piece of origami he’d brought to class. Later, after meeting Luna Nozawa and realizing she was the one who had created the paper art, Dylan invited her to come teach the class. However, what she didn’t realize was that “Miss Sunshine,” as the vixen was calling herself, was just using Hayes to get to his mother, Steffy Forrester. Luna held Dylan at gunpoint to force her to invite Steffy to the temporary schoolhouse, then tied the teacher up and gagged her to stash her in another room. So Dylan only heard the gunfire and didn’t know what had happened until the cops freed her and she discovered that Luna, Sheila Carter, and Liam Spencer had all been shot.

Although Luna had been presumed dead, she was nursed back to health by her grandmother, Li Finnegan, and subsequently went on another reign of terror. The psycho tried to kill Steffy again, but instead lost her life when she was struck by a car while trying to flee the cops. Dylan resurfaced in November to visit Electra Forrester at work and confess to her old friend that she’d been the one driving the vehicle that took Luna’s life. Electra and her boyfriend, Will Spencer, accompanied Dylan to Steffy and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s house so she could tell them the truth as well. Finn was stunned to learn she was the one who killed his daughter, but forgave her as it was a tragic accident.

Around Christmas time, Will told Electra he wanted to invite Dylan to stay with them at the beach house because it appeared she was living out of her car. Dylan admitted that she was currently homeless and took the couple up on their offer of a place to stay while she looked for a new job. Electra acted a little possessive of her beau — and perhaps rightly so, as Dylan was secretly giving him longing looks from her window.

As 2026 began, Will and Electra took Dylan to Forrester Creations to talk to Steffy about possibly getting Hayes’s former teacher a job at the fashion house.
