It was recently announced that the Beerus saga of Dragon Ball Super would receive an enhanced remake appropriately titled Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, and calling it divisive would be an understatement. While there’s certainly merit in improving on the arc’s infamously terrible art and animation, having a third adaptation of Beerus’ debut felt excessive, and more than that, many people would likely prefer it if Toei Animation simply went straight to the long-awaited Galactic Patrol saga.
