Denise Richards has made her first public appearance since revealing the results of a facelift in a social media post.
The 55-year-old World Is Not Enough star stepped out at the launch of the app for US soap The Bold and the Beautiful on Thursday at Wheelhouse in West Hollywood, California.
And she looked radiant in a pale pink lace dress, which she teamed with her long blonde hair loose and flowing down her back, and a slick of pink lip gloss to match the outfit.
Richards, who played the character of Shauna Fulton in the soap from 2019 until 2022, took to Instagram earlier this month in a joint post with her plastic surgeon where she compared a photo of herself before the procedure with how she looks now.
The Wild Things actress underwent the op eight months ago, revealing her reasons for doing so in a recent interview with Allure Magazine.
‘I wanted to put things back up, where they were before,’ Richards explained. ‘I was terrified. Being in the public eye since my 20s, people know what I look like — a facelift is not something I could hide.
‘It is night and day. It’s shocking, actually.’
However, she admitted that daughters Sami, 22, and 20-year-old Lola, from her marriage to actor Charlie Sheen, were against her undergoing the surgery, and tried to talk her out of it.
‘My oldest daughters were not happy that I was doing it,’ she said. ‘But I think now they understand, and they see that I still look like me.
‘I think they were just worried, in general, of [me] having surgery. They were telling me I didn’t need it. I was too young.’
She added: ‘I told them that this is something I want to do, and you may not agree with my decision, but I just want your support.’
A source told the Daily Mail that the star also wanted to ‘do something for herself’ in the wake of her split from husband Aaron Phypers.
‘The divorce has really taken a toll on her in so many ways, emotionally and financially,’ they said.
‘She deserves to have a little joy in her life and her new face makes her very happy.’
Richards married the Leap actor in 2018 after around a year of dating. However, he filed for divorce in July 2025 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
She has reportedly been ordered by a court to pay him $5,000 (£3,735) a month in temporary spousal support, as well as $30,000 (£22,410) towards his legal fees associated with the divorce.
The actress — who appeared with her husband in reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — was granted a temporary restraining order from Phypers last year after alleging that he was repeatedly violent, which he denies.
