Even before it debuted domestically this week and expanded internationally, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle was already one of the 100 highest-grossing animated movies in global box office history, with over $300 million in the bank. The film shattered expectations to deliver the biggest-ever domestic debut for an anime title this weekend, while passing a major milestone at the worldwide box office. Infinity Castle is on track to overtake its predecessor, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which made over $500 million globally in 2021.
