Debbie staggered speechless in Coronation Street spoiler video as she finds show icon left to die

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is left speechless in Coronation Street next week when she stumbles upon an unconscious show legend, who has been left to die after falling down the stairs.

The much-loved show favourite arrives at the Rovers Return looking for Carl (Jonathan Howard) in the clip above – taken from next Thursday’s (September 24) edition of the ITV soap – to find the place in total darkness.

Calling out for a response but getting none in return, Debbie walks through the pub and towards the cellar, where she descending the stairs to a shocking sight.

Lying on the floor below is Eve Price (Catherine Tyldesley), who has seemingly suffered a fall.

Not sure what to do, Debbie – who has been diagnosed with dementia – calls for help but no-one responds.

Opting instead to get assistance, she heads back out into the pub and towards the door but, upon setting foot on the cobbles, she is confronted by an unruly gang.

‘Stop laughing at me!’, Debbie screams, believing the youths to be making fun of her, telling them that they need to be more careful.

The question is: will she remember to inform someone about what has happened to Eva?

It seems not, with Eva subsequently found by Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger), who calls for an ambulance.

Debbie later remembers that she saw Eva and didn’t call for help.

The Rovers landlady was suffering from a cold prior to the incident and, with Ben (Aaron McCusker) having taken Susie to her audition in London, Eva was forced to close the pub – but a concerning noise in the cellar prompted her to take a look.

Was she pushed? or is the whole thing just an accident?
