The Red Lantern Corps isn't even 20 years old yet, but it's settled rather comfortably into the greater Green Lantern lexicon. Typically having their powers derived from anger or rage, their powers are appropriately violent and visceral. Their hearts are replaced, they spew lethal plasma, and their powers are amplified the angrier they get, making them akin to a cosmic, spacefaring Hulk if he could spew a deadly plasma from his mouth. But always the one to take things a step further, DC's Absolute Universe has twisted the visceral nature of Red Lantern powers to new body horror extremes.
