The Doctor Is In
The action in this Days of Our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of September 1 begins as Xander (Paul Telfer) arrives at Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) townhouse for his anger management therapy session. She has him take a seat on the couch and asks him, “What sets you off?” Xander has plenty of answers. “How about lying, scheming, cheating?” he asks. Marlena looks at him intently and asks, “Who’s done that?”
A Bold Move
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) meets with Tony (Thaao Penghlis) to discuss their plan for her to ingratiate herself with the Kiriakis brothers at Titan so that they can take DiMera Enterprises away from them. Gabi lays out what she’s done so far — and it’s quite a play. “I planted a bug in a pen that I left on Xander’s desk.” Tony leans back, pleased with what he’s heard so far but he wants more. “Well, don’t keep me in suspense,” he tells her.
On the Case
Brady (Eric Martsolf) meets with Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) supposed attorney, Patsy. “My son’s baby… was it a boy or a girl?” he asks. The scene switches to Sophia discussing her recent mistake with Brady to Melinda (Tina Huang). “I accidentally referred to the baby as him,” she tells the crafty attorney. Melinda isn’t pleased but she appears to take it in stride.
Welcome Home
At the Horton home, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) welcomes back Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford). “I’m so glad that you’re here,” Julie tells Jennifer as she gives her a big hug. It’s party time for JJ (Casey Moss), and they’re joined by Uncle Steve (Stephen Nichols) too. As they celebrate, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) can be heard saying, “Why would I want to be in a house full of people who hate me?” She’s in Horton Town Square, talking with her father Jack. He tells her, “I don’t hate you, Gwen.”
Choke On It
In Xander’s office at Titan, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) spits out his drink and is choking, shocking Xander who springs into action. Xander tells his brother to, “Come here, come on,” as he quickly tries to perform the Heimlich maneuver on Philip.
Where the Pieces May Fall
“Before we proceed with sentencing, would you care to amend your plea,” asks the judge, as a closeup of Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) eyes comes into view. Brady, Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Belle (Martha Madison) are also in the judge’s chambers. Brady speaks up and says icily, “Give her the maximum sentence allowable by law.”
