After winning his first Oscar for his performance in Oppenheimer not long ago, Cillian Murphy has taken himself out of the running to play one of the most iconic villains of all time. Murphy has been one of the most popular names attached to play Voldemort in the new Harry Potter TV series, and while there has been a lot of smoke around this rumor, there is allegedly no fire. Murphy recently sat down for an interview on an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast hosted by Josh Horowitz, and when asked if there was any truth to these rumors, he simply said, “No.”
