The sooner Caitlin Clark fans forget about the 2025 season, the better. What was meant to be her big sophomore leap — the season where she’d build on her incredible rookie year and maybe even sneak into MVP conversations — turned into something no one saw coming. Three separate injuries to her quadriceps and groin derailed her season, forcing her to watch from the sidelines instead of lighting up the league. But even as her playing time was cut short, something else started to shine through. Her leadership. Away from the court, Clark showed a new side of herself.
Caitlin Clark was in Chicago this week for Becker’s Healthcare’s CEO + CFO Roundtable, where she took the stage as a keynote speaker. With her season limited to just 13 games due to multiple injuries, Clark opened up about her new role inside the Fever locker room. As shared by a fan page of the Indiana superstar (@bdilh021524), Clark said, “Try to instill as much confidence in them and hopefully they can achieve more than they even thought they could…it always goes back to relationships and really getting to know them and what makes them tick.”

Even though she couldn’t make her mark on the court this season, her words showed how she continued to make an impact.
