The Breaking Bad star was awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his appearance onThe Studio, further cementing his reputation as one of television’s most versatile performers. The category was one of the night’s most stacked, featuring a blend of Hollywood heavyweights and fan favorites. Cranston faced competition from legendary directors Ron Howard and Martin Scorsese, both of whom made memorable cameos playing themselves, as well as Dave Franco and Anthony Mackie, who also leaned into meta performances. Rounding out the competition in the category was The Bear’s Jon Bernthal.
