Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood has praised his parents for raising a family ‘with such amazing morals’.
The 27-year-old Summer House star previously started dating Brooklyn in 2018 for ‘more than a year’ before he met now-wife Nicola in October 2019, and she has reflected on their time together.
Although they ‘didn’t really hang out’ with either set of parents, she got to know his siblings, including brothers Romeo, who just turned 23 (without Brooklyn at the birthday bash), and Cruz, 20.
‘We were really just hanging out with our siblings and having the best time,’ she told the Daily Mail, with the Beckhams caught up in a family rift for much of the year.
‘But all I know is that the Beckhams did raise such amazing kids with such amazing morals and values that whatever is going on, I just know they did exactly the best thing.’
She admitted that when she did meet Sir David and Lady Victoria, she ‘really looked up to’ the way their family were so close-knit, and she had a ‘really great’ experience.

Asked about the family feud, she said: ‘I think that you never know what happens behind closed doors.’
Lexi pointed out she can only speak from her own experience, adding: ‘Romeo and Cruz are the best people I’ve ever met. They’re the best.’
Meanwhile, she revealed her relationship with Brooklyn ‘probably’ went on ‘longer than people thought’, because they prioritised their privacy during their time together.
Now, Lexi is glad that her former flame has found love with Nicola, and she wishes ‘nothing but the best for both of them’ as they live their lives together.
‘I know [Nicola’s] brothers and her and I have met a couple times and, honestly, from the outside looking in, they’re all amazing,’ she said.
She added: ‘His life has moved on so much. My life has moved on so much… I just love this chapter for him and them and I just really respect everything.’
At the moment, that chapter doesn’t seem to involve the rest of his family, after Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from dad Sir David’s 50th celebrations earlier this year.

Ever since, there’s been undeniable distance between the budding chef and his famous parents, while Romeo have made digs against him on social media.
Whether it be seemingly blocking him and Nicola, 30, on Instagram, taking a swipe at Brooklyn’s varied career, or posting cryptic messages about ‘truth telling’, it’s clear their once-close relationship is now strained.
With that, it’s perhaps no surprise that Brooklyn wasn’t around for Romeo’s 23rd birthday last week.
A source shared with Metro on where they currently stand: ‘Brooklyn has been on the receiving end of public trolling from both of his brothers, and just a few months ago, they even blocked him and Nicola.
‘So, it’s unrealistic to expect him to extend an olive branch.’
