Brooklyn Beckham has made it clear that a reconciliation with his famous parents is not on the cards with his latest social media move.

The 27-year-old aspiring chef snubbed sending a message to his mum, Victoria Beckham for Mother's Day, instead sending a message to his mother-in-law.

He shared a belated birthday tribute for Claudia Peltz in a heartfelt message on Sunday, and ignored the special day in the UK completely.

"Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law," he wrote alongside a photo of his wife, Nicola Peltz, and Claudia, who turned 71 last week.

"Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day."

While it may be due to the fact that the UK and the rest of the world celebrate Mother's Day on different days, with everyone else due to celebrate in May, the post clearly sends a message.

But while Brooklyn seemingly snubbed his mum, the rest of the family including his siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14 along with dad David Beckham all celebrated Victoria.

Alongside a throwback photo of the former Spice Girl during one of her pregnancies, David praised her as a mother.

"Happy Mother's Day to the most amazing mummy..... You are an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be to our 4 amazing children.. We love you so much and I'm so thankful for the family we have created 🩷 Have a special Mother's Day because if there's one person that deserves it it's you 🩷 I love you 🩷 @victoriabeckham," he captioned the post

Just weeks ago David and Victoria sent a public olive branch to their eldest son, wishing him a happy birthday on both of their Instagram pages.

Despite the lovely messages, it was a defiant move from the couple after Brooklyn's blistering social media takedown earlier this year.

Both David and Victoria shared throwback snaps with Brooklyn as a child and used his childhood nickname of 'Bust' in their messages.

Brooklyn did not acknowledge the posts, but there's a good chance he may not have even seen them after reports he blocked both of them.

In early January reports surfaced that the aspiring chef and his wife Nicola Peltz had served David and Victoria with a "cease and desist" notice – and that a breach of said notice was the driving force behind Brooklyn blocking his parents on social media in December 2025.

According to anonymous sources cited by The Daily Mail, Victoria and David were instructed to contact Brooklyn and Nicola through their lawyers exclusively.

The desist letter in question was said to contain explicit instructions surrounding social media activity, including orders to refrain from tagging or mentioning Brooklyn in posts.
