Box Office Results: Thunderbolts* Beats Out Fight or Flight & Other New Releases

Thunderbolts* took the top spot at the domestic box office this past weekend once again.

Now in its second week of release, Thunderbolts* easily took the top spot at the United States box office this week with $33 million. It was followed by Sinners, A Minecraft Movie, and The Accountant 2, all of which are at least in their third week of release.

Per Deadline, the newcomers didn’t fare as well. Clown in a Cornfield made $3.6 million, which isn’t too bad considering it only had a $10 million budget. Shadow Force and Fight or Flight, meanwhile, both came in sixth and seventh place with around $2 million each.

The Juliet & Romeo musical failed to crack the top ten, as it played in 1,350 theaters but only made around $350,000. A24’s Friendship, on the other hand, is only playing in six theaters at this time ahead of its upcoming wide release, but it still managed to bring in $75,300.
