Borderlands 4 was honestly not on my radar this year. Not because I thought the game would be bad or because I don't enjoy the franchise, but because there have been so many good games and video game surprises in 2025 that I've found it difficult to keep up with all of them, and I didn't know what to expect after Borderlands 3. After putting 50 hours into the game, I can confidently say that Borderlands 4 is another pleasant surprise.
