Blossom’s Joey Lawrence & Wife Samantha Welcome 2nd Baby After Reconciliation

Brotherly Love and Blossom star Joey Lawrence welcomed his fourth child and first son over the Easter weekend. This is the second child with his current wife, Samantha Cope. Things had fallen apart between Cope and Lawrence previously, but they reconciled and have now welcomed their first boy together.

Joey Lawrence, who began his career as a child actor in Blossom, is now a father of four. He shares two daughters, Charleston “Charli” Lawrence and Liberty “Libby” Grace Lawrence, with his first wife, Chandie Yawn-Nelson, and a daughter, Dylan Rose, with Samantha Cope. The couple has now welcomed their first son together over the Easter weekend.

In an Instagram post collaborating with Cope, Lawrence revealed the name of the baby and posted a carousel of photos and videos with the newborn baby.

They wrote in the caption of the post, “Ford Joseph Lawrence,” revealing the child’s name. The caption continued, “Our newest member has arrived. What an absolute blessing you are baby boy! It will be an Easter Weekend to remember forever. 4.6.26. God is so good!”

The post received reactions from fans and colleagues of the actor. “Awww what a blessing. Congrats to you both. Welcome to the world Ford,” one user wrote in the comments, while another wrote, “Omg, congratulations on your beautiful son @joeylawrence and @samanthaccope, he’s beautiful and joining a beautiful family. Lawrence and Cope announced the pregnancy on the red carpet of Dancing with the Stars. At the event, Lawrence pointed to his wife’s belly and said, “This is not planned (via Entertainment Tonight).”

Lawrence most recently appeared in Marry Christmas in 2024.
