Beyond Fest Celebrates the Career of Guillermo del Toro With a Stacked Cinematic Retrospective

In the world of cinematic monsters, few modern directors stand out quite like Guillermo del Toro. With numerous beloved creations under his belt, the filmmaker has used his career not only to entertain, but to inspire, educate, and better the world around him. And soon, he’ll have his time in the spotlight thanks to Beyond Fest, which announced today the arrival of a very special 12-film presentation that will celebrate the many works of del Toro. Titled Está Vivo: The Gods and Monsters of Guillermo del Toro, the retrospective will dig into the helmer’s more than three decades in the industry, unveiling the driving forces behind the man who brings monsters to life. Between September 23 and October 8, fans will have the chance to see the visionary’s finest works back on the big screen, with some showings even featuring Q&A sessions with del Toro himself.
