While we wait for the fine folks at Beyond Fest to reveal this year's lineup the really big news today is that the festival will be hosting a 12-feature retrospective program of the films of Guillermo Del Toro, Está Vivo: The Gods and Monsters of Guillermo del Toro. The program includes both of his Hellboy movies, Pan's Labyrinth, The Devil's Backbone, Cronos, Crimson Peak, Nightmare Alley, Blade II, The Shape of Water, Pacific Rim and his version of Pinnochio. That is an incredible program from front to back, which makes this an umissable event. Tickets go on sale tomorrow - the link will be found at beyondfest.com and americancinematheque.com.
