During the last week, a wide range of stars and backstage players from Beyond the Gates, Bold and Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and Young and Restless have been posting images and videos they’ve taken on the set, in their dressing rooms, or in various corners of the studios where the shows are shot. Of particular interest this week? A shot of Y&R‘s Melissa Ordway (Abby) having fun with her co-stars while a GH alum and a current B&B star have an All My Children reunion. The official GH social team caught Cameron Mathison moments before his GH character, Drew, was shot by a mysterious assailant. Considering most of the fictional town of Port Charles wanted the congressman dead, it could have been just about anyone.
Melissa Ordway is back to work at the Y&R set, where she now recurs as Abby. She posted a photo of herself with her on-screen husband Bryton James (Devon, l.) and recent addition Billy Flynn (Cane). She wrote, “Abby Newman Abbott Winters and Friends ❤️🥰.”
Ordway also shared this picture of herself with Y&R on-screen sister Heinle (Victoria). She posed this question to her followers, “If you could be any character on @youngandrestlesscbs who would you be? Comment below and let me know 🎬.”
Cherie Jimenez (Gabi) posted this dressing room selfie from the DAYS studio on her Instastory and wrote, “Friday” as well as “Happy Hiatus” while the song “Puddles” by Daniela Andrade played.
Romy Park (Poppy) posted this shot of B&B co-star John McCook (Eric) giving her a peck on the cheek as she smiled. Park wrote, “John McCook always brightens my day 💜.”
Finola Hughes (Anna) was all smiles when the official GH social team snapped this photo of her, complete with Anna’s police commissioner’s badge, after the cameras had stopped rolling.
Ashley Jones (Bridget, r.) shared the love with her B&B on-screen mom, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke). She wrote, “I love you @katherinekellylang. How lucky did I get with you?” She chose the song “The Girls” by Megan Moroney to accompany the post.
B&B’s Rebecca Budig (Taylor, c.) posed with Soapy co-host Greg Rikaart (Leo, DAYS) as they welcomed Budig’s former All My Children co-star Eva LaRue (ex-Maria; ex-Natalia, GH, et al.) as a guest on their podcast series. Budig wrote, “I can’t tell you how nice it was to see and catch up with the gorgeous, amazing @evalarue on #Soapy. This woman lights up a room and I’m so excited we got to talk to her!” Rikaart chimed in with his own thoughts as he wrote, “@evalarue is a powerhouse of a strength, talent and gorgeousness. Thank you for the great chat on #soapy !!😘😘 ”
Zuleyka Silver sat for hairstylist Justin Jackson at the Y&R studio as he created her character Audra’s latest Genoa City look.
Alison Sweeney wasn’t on the DAYS set playing Sami but instead appeared as herself on the set of LEGO Masters Jr.. She shared this shot from the set and wrote, “Surprising my Mario-bros teammates tonight! #LegoMastersJr.”
Christian Weissmann (Remy) took this selfie while at work at the B&B studio. Weissmann is currently nominated for his first Daytime Emmy for his work on the show.
Amelia Heinle (Victoria) shared a video on her Instastory, caffeine in hand, as she was given a ride around the backstage area of Y&R on a production cart.
Naomi Matsuda shared her before and after shots as she became her B&B character Li on Instagram and wrote, “🌟Li Finnegan’s transformation🌟 Again congratulations to Bold and The Beautiful Make up & Hair Emmy Nomination🌟”
Beyond the Gates is on hiatus, but work is still taking place behind the scenes. Editor Charles Isaiah Lemons wrote, “While [Beyond The Gates] production is away enjoying traveling the world & putting their toes in the sand, I am editing these episodes. 😂🤪”
