Guy Ritchie triumphantly returned to the world of Sherlock Holmes in 2026 with Young Sherlock. After previously directing Robert Downey Jr.'s two big-screen adventures, Ritchie returned to Arthur Conan Doyle’s universe for a small-screen outing on Prime Video. This time, Hero Fiennes Tiffin plays a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes during the future detective's formative, and rebellious, years at Oxford. It may not be connected to the 2009 and 2011 movies, but its energetic visual style and sharp dialogue make Ritchie’s creative influence unmistakable.
