The MCU's 2025 was far from satisfactory. Captain America: Brave New World disappointed both audiences and critics alike; Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach's new Fantastic Four proved promising but ultimately stuttered at the box office, and Thunderbolts*added a breath of fresh air to a stale superhero genre that sadly failed to entice enough people to theaters. However, 2026 is set to be much different, with the cinematic year leading up to Avengers: Doomsdaythis December.
