At least 32 dead after huge magnitude 7.8 earthquake strikes the Philippines as buildings collapse and tsunami threat sends locals racing to higher ground

The quake, which was recorded as a 7.8 magnitude, struck at a depth of 10km on Monday morning, according to the German ​Research Centre ​for Geosciences (GFZ).
