Another alien has been arrested for illegally voting, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed on Thursday.

This follows the arrest of several illegal voters this week alone. In Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the arrest of seven foreign nationals who had already been indicted for illegal activity tied to the 2024 general election on Tuesday.

Still, Democrats say this almost never happens, and the spineless Republicans in the Senate, led by RINO John Thune, caved on the SAVE Act.

The Daily Wire reported on Thursday that federal immigration authorities also arrested Ludwig Uriel Espejo-Carrillo, a Mexican national and green card holder in El Paso, Texas, who lied about his citizenship to vote in American elections.

According to the report, Espejo-Carrillo became a lawful permanent resident under Obama, and he is now awaiting deportation.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin described the alien’s actions as a “threat to our republic.”

“We cannot and will not allow the votes of American citizens to be canceled out by non-citizens illegally voting in our elections,” Mullin said.

“Thanks to the hard work of the men and women of ICE, this criminal will be deported from the United States.”

DHS confirmed the report on Thursday, writing,

Our message to aliens who vote in American elections is clear: we will find you, arrest you, and you will face the consequences.

On September 3, @HSIElPaso arrested Ludwig Uriel Espejo-Carrillo, an alien from Mexico, and charged him with unlawful voting and false claim to U.S. citizenship after illegally voting in American elections in 2015.

Espejo-Carrillo will remain in ICE custody pending removal from the United States.

We cannot and will not allow the votes of American citizens to be cancelled out by non-citizens illegally voting in our elections.

Our message to aliens who vote in American elections is clear: we will find you, arrest you, and you will face the consequences.
