Karma could well be baring her teeth, ready to deliver an enormous bite on the behind of Coronation Street’s Queen of mean, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), next week as her flower shop, Preston’s Petals, is absolutely trashed.
Toxic Trace has been back to her bitchy best recently. After trying to seduce Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) and being rebuffed, she later discovered that he was having an affair with his sister in law, Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine).
Never one to turn down an opportunity, Tracy turned to extortion, demanding cash in exchange for her silence.
While Abi panicked, proposing to Carl that they abscond to Germany, Carl decided to play Tracy’s game, ramping up his car theft racket to raise the funds to pay her.

Next week sees Tracy turn more ruthless than usual, fed up of being paid her hush money in instalments. Approaching Abi, she makes it clear that she wants the rest of her money, and she wants it today.
Anxious Abi goes straight to Carl with Tracy’s demand, but he stands firm. He’ll pay her a further £500 and then it’s over, she won’t get a penny more.
Perhaps underestimating the sheer scope of Tracy’s villainy, she reminds Carl that she’s the one in control and he’d do well to remember.
So that didn’t work…

While Abi descends into panic and proposes to Carl that they come clean to Kevin, he’s had enough of Tracy and plans to call her bluff.
Later, Tracy returns to Preston’s Petals and as she peers through the window, she sees it being torn apart. Entering the shop, she’s horrified to see a masked intruder laying waste to the place.
Has Carl taken drastic action to shut Tracy up? Or has another recipient of her venomous tongue decided to get payback? Is it a random attack?
You’ll have to wait and see…
