The day following his wife and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's move to the Delhi High Court regarding the misuse of her altered images created by AI, actor Abhishek Bachchan has also approached the same court to safeguard his personal rights. As reported by Live Mint, Abhishek Bachchan has submitted a petition against a website named Bollywood Tee Shop that produces T-shirts featuring Bollywood stars.
The actor has contended that his image and persona are being utilized without permission.

In his request, Abhishek Bachchan sought court orders to prohibit the website and other violators from continuing their actions. He also demanded the removal of all online links related to the request from platforms like Google and YouTube.

Ameet Naik and Pravin Anand from Anand and Naik have filed the lawsuit on behalf of Abhishek Bachchan. Additionally, the actor asked the court, through his lawyer Pravin Anand, to allow him the option to extend the ruling to "John Doe" defendants, denoting individuals who cannot be identified but may engage in similar unlawful activities in the future.

"Removing the infringing URLs is a necessary action, thanks to Mr. Pravin Anand. We must safeguard our clients in this age of advancing technology and digital media," he added.
Aishwarya approached the Dehli High Court
On Tuesday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan approached the Delhi High Court to protect her personality rights, expressing concerns over the unauthorized use of her name, images, and public identity across various digital platforms and commercial endeavors.
The court, led by Justice Tejas Karia, reviewed the issue and indicated its intention to issue injunctions to prevent such exploitation. The case has been officially set for further proceedings on January 15, 2026.
