ComingSoon is excited to exclusively announce that Oni Press and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products have teamed up for Adventure Time: Quadruple Feature, a brand-new four-issue limited comic book series. It is based on the popular animated fantasy TV show of the same name. The 32-page first issue will be available for purchase on July 1, 2026, for the retail price of $4.99.

What do we know about Adventure Time: Quadruple Feature?

Adventure Time: Quadruple Feature hails from Eisner Award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer) and artist Brenda Hickey (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic). It is described as an ode to the magic of the movies, featuring the return of fan-favorite characters Jake, Marceline, BMO, and Lumpy Space Princess. The first issue has four movie-inspired art covers from Hickey, Ben Turner, Andy Price, and Jaki King.

“Our friendly foursome has just arrived at their local movie theater with four very different ideas of what to watch. What’s a stretchy dog, a vampire queen, a princess, and, er, BMO to do? Easy! Four separate tickets, please! Jake’s up first, and his showing of the famed 1940s screwball comedy What’s Up, Princess? (What do you mean you’ve never heard of the famed 1940s screwball comedy What’s Up, Princess?!) cranks up the heat!” reads the synopsis. “Fast-paced action, faster-paced quips, highfalutin dames, fellas in over their heads, and a host of familiar faces explode across the silver screen in this love letter to genre and cinema!”

Created by Pendleton Ward, Adventure Time was an acclaimed series that lasted for ten seasons from 2010 to 2018. During its run, it also received eight Emmy Awards. The voice cast consisted of Jeremy Shada, John DiMaggio, Hynden Walch, Tom Kenny, Olivia Olson, and Niki Yang, with Ward, Adam Muto, Fred Seibert, and Derek Drymon set as executive producers. Due to its success, it was followed by the HBO Max animated special Distant Lands in 2020 and the HBO Max spin-off series Fionna and Cake.
