Many of us grew up on classic Disney Channel Original Movies, where kids, pre-teens, and teenagers get involved in classic hijinks and have heartfelt moments. It’s all very sweet, there’s always an important lesson involved, and there is absolutely nothing not family-friendly about it. And while these movies are classics and we love watching them, as we grow older and become teenagers and young adults, we may want to watch teen movies that feel more real.
