Science fiction television, since all the way back in the medium's inception, has been one of the most popular and prolific genres. Having had so many decades and so many highly influential outings to develop, it has come to a point where, now, several of the best TV shows of all time are sci-fi shows. However, there are great sci-fi shows, and then there are true all-timers that are even better than the vast majority of sci-fi films.
