It’s not unusual to wish for a show to just end abruptly at this point. Plenty of TV series overstay their welcome and drag their stories past their breaking point. However, HBO has a pattern of doing the exact opposite. For years, the network has been the de facto home of prestige TV, with worlds so rich and characters so compelling that the audience keeps wanting more.
